Disqualifié en demi-finale face aux Emirats arabes unis, le groupe d’étudiants Algériens Alterfox E-Sport a raté son avion pour l’Espagne. Il aurait pu y disputer le titre de champion du monde dans la compétition Knockout de Red Bull Campus Clutch.
Organisée par Red Bull Algérie au cybergame Head Shot gaming, à Birkhadem, Alger, l’équipe algérienne s’était qualifiée face au Nigeria jeudi après-midi.
Dans la soirée de la même journée, ces gamers, tous des étudiants, ont eu à jouer la demi-finale régionale face au groupe des Emirats arabes unis. Ils ont perdu et malheureusement quitté la compétition. «Valorant est un jeu de tir très compétitif. Il permet de faire travailler les réflexes du joueur, sa réactivité et surtout sa tactique. 20 000 euros à gagner en finale
Il faut savoir que le tournoi mondial Valorant pour les étudiants universitaires a été divisé en deux étapes. Les gagnants des finales nationales de plus de 50 pays , dont l’Algérie, ont été appelés à participer à l’avant-dernier événement, le World Final Knockout Round, qui a eu lieu du 3 au 6 juin.
Événement unique sur la scène Valorant, les finales de chaque région sont diffusées sous forme de contenus globaux non-stop 24h/24, en direct sur les chaînes Red Bull. Les 12 meilleures équipes passeront à la finale mondiale, qui se tiendra à Madrid les 17 et 18 juillet prochain. Un rendez-vous raté pour l’équipe algérienne. Elle aurait pu disputer un prix de 20 000 € et une invitation exclusive à assister à un prochain événement valorant masters. Plus de 25 000 étudiants venus de 50 pays ont participé à ce tournoi mondial.
